Players must follow respective Parish guidelines for religious education, or be enrolled in Catholic School. Each parish Pastor, Priest Moderator, or Parish School Principal must approve the rosters.

HOW MANY TEAMS ARE THERE?
There are two teams. 5th & 6th grade are JV, 7th and 8th grade are Varsity. There is no weight limit. However, JV players cannot turn 13 before December 1 of the current season and Varsity cannot turn 15 before December 1 of the current season.

CAN 4TH GRADERS PLAY?
4th Graders can register as instructional players. A 4th grader cannot be rostered nor can they play in any league games.

WHAT PARISHES ARE AFFLIATED WITH THE SAINTS?

The host Parish is St. Cyril of Jerusalem, Jamison. Affiliated Parishes are: St Joseph/St Robert, Warrington (SJR) Nativity of Our Lord, Warminster St Vincent De Paul, Richboro Our Lady of Good Counsel, Southampton, St Bede the Venerable, Holland, and Assumption BVM, Feasterville. Members of St Andrews, Newtown, St John Bosco, Hatboro and St Catherine of Sienna, Horsham, can register for the Saints.

HOW LONG IS THE FOOTBALL SEASON?

Practice starts approximately August 15 and continues until the 1st week in November. At that point playoffs begin. Teams not making the playoffs will be scheduled two more games to fill in the last two weeks.

WHEN DO THE SAINTS PRACTICE?

The Saints practice Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from August 15th until the school schedule goes into effect; practice is 6:15 to 8:15. Once school begins the schedule changes, practices will be Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 6:30 to 8:00. Practices are at Szymanek Park on Street Road in Warminster, PA.

WHAT ARE EXCUSED ABSENCES?
If your child has CCD/PREP they must attend the religious education class, THEY CANNOT COME TO PRACTICE ON THEIR CCD/PREP NIGHT!. If the player is an altar server they must serve their scheduled Mass. Any Parish scheduled function that is mandatory, confirmation, forty hours, etc. School dances are not an excused absence; the players can attend the dance after practice. If given appropriate notice we will try to work around the function by adjusting our schedule. This doesn’t always work but we will try to accommodate. Sickness that includes a fever or possible a contagious carrier should not be any practice. Injured players are not excused, they should be at practice with their teammates continuing to learn.

WHEN AND WHERE ARE HOME GAMES?

Home games are either at Szymanek Park or Log College Middle School, N. Norristown Rd, Warminster, 18974. Game times are: 11:00am JV kickoff, Varsity usually right after the JV game, approx.  1:00pm. ALL PLAYERS AND CHEERLEADERS MUST ATTEND MASS BEFORE SATURDAY HOME GAMES. IF YOU ARE AN ALTAR SERVER AT YOUR PARISH OR YOU HAVE A FUNERAL OR SOMETHING SIMILAR YOU WILL BE EXCUSED. Anyone missing Mass will not be eligible to play the game that day. Attendance is taken approximately 15 minutes before Mass. Late means arriving after roll is taken and will cost you your starting position that day. Depending on the severity it will be the coach’s discretion when the player will be permitted to enter the game.

WHAT EQUIPMENT IS NEEDED?

Football Cleats with molded rubber bottom. No Screw in Cleats Allowed! Practice Pants, Practice Jersey (preferably Red in color), and Girdle with pads. The girdle can be 3 piece, 5 piece, or 7 piece. If you purchase a 3 piece girdle we supply knee and thigh pads. Players MUST wear a Saints Helmet and use Saints Shoulder Pads.  Varsity players will be issued spider pads to wear under their shoulder pads.
